Lab Mix Sprinter's Transformation

Sprinter! I met her almost a year ago when she was four months old. A feral little thing — rather serious like many puppies can be in a new environment — and let’s just say she lived up to her name! (Scroll on down to see her baby photos.)

She challenged her person Kevin to think out of the box and inspired him to pursue dog training classes. He put the time every day into building her confidence and WOW!

A few weeks ago we made her first birthday photos and I was so impressed with the smiling, happy young lady into which she has transformed. Her intensity is still there as you can see but has been tempered with love, patience, and experience. It's so rewarding to capture a dog blossoming like this.

Sprinter’s birthday photos above were made at Prophecy Creek in Ambler, PA, which I love for its well-groomed wide open space for action shots and stone walls that look amazing in the sunset light.

Her four months photos below were made in NW Philly right near my studio in my Secret Garden where a great variety of beauty beckons in every season.
