Cattle Dog Red's Wissahickon Adventure Session

Meet cattle dog mix Red and come along on our adventure photo session in Philadelphia's Wissahickon Valley Park!

 

Red's mix is primarily cattle dog with Shih Tzu, believe it or not! His person Sam rescued him nearly 10 years ago and knows her heart dog isn't getting any younger. She wanted beautiful photos that capture one of the most important parts of their relationship — their mutual love of adventure and hiking.

 

So Sam made the trip from NYC for a session in my back yard — Philadelphia’s uniquely beautiful and historic creek gorge, the 2000-acre Wissahickon Valley Park. My goal was to showcase Red’s beauty and the ever-deepening bond he shares with Sam, which I think shines through in each one of these images no matter how close or wide the scene. We even trekked up to the famous Toleration statue and I made a photo of them watching the sunset with Billy Penn — keep scrolling to see the last image!
