Cherry Blossom Dog Photos March & April

If you're half as enchanted as I am with heirloom cherry trees, you'll love spending time among their delicate pink and white blossoms while I create dog portraits in golden hour light for you to treasure.
 
These are always some of my favorite photo sessions of the year! So special, too — peak blossoms last only a couple weeks, usually late March through early April.
 
Details:
  • Limit one dog per person, two dogs max from the same family
  • Dogs *must* be social and comfortable with people nearby and with small children potentially running about!
  • Parking is very close by, but there's a small, grassy hill to climb
  • Location is Fairmount Park, Philadelphia
  • Cost is $375 for 5 polished digital images
  • Option to add prints for your tabletops or walls
Predicted peak blossom dates are as follows, weekdays only:
 
Monday, March 30 - Friday, April 3
Monday, April 6 - Friday, April 10
 
Payment is not required to join the waitlist, but will be required in advance to secure your spot if one is available for you.

A bit of Philly cherry tree history

In 1926, Japan gifted 1600 cherry trees to the city of Philadelphia in celebration of the 150th anniversary of America’s independence. Fairmount Park is home to some of the oldest trees from the original plantings 100 years ago, so these trees have the beautiful, extra gnarly trunks you see in the surrounding photos made by me in the past few years among peak blossoms.
